Out of the Jurisdiction: Gibson

Gibson was born near Victoria Falls, close to the border shared by Zimbabwe and Zambia.
He has been guiding game drives in South Africa for nine years.

Most game sightings are made visually, sometimes with the aid of radio alerts
shared among the guides working the same preserve.

But, sometimes Gibson studies paw prints (and dung) to see which animals have passed recently.

That last shot is so good. Love the light and atmosphere in all of these. You can really sense the difference in location.

It sounds like you had a great guide to take you on this adventure. I loved the zebras yesterday too. They are such beautiful animals.

Those guides must build up such a lot of skill, like a sixth sense. He looks like a good guy.

I'm partial to the first shot -- showing Gibson in action behind the wheel. I bet it's interesting watching how they track the big game.

When I think of the twenty years I spent in Zimbabwe and Zambia I get fuzzy warm memories :) I miss the Gibson's of Africa!
