Arthur is a good-natured guy. He rolls his motorized wheelchair up and down the main streets of Naples, with a flag sign reading:
"Information 5 cents,
Correct Information $1."
I asked Arthur how often people pay him for advice. He smiled and said, "Never."
Arthur is originally from Chicago. These days he splits the year between
Chicago and Naples.
AND, Arthur wears a sharp Panama hat, much like the ones I wear, except better.
We spent some time discussing where he orders his hats. I am going to
give his hat seller a try.

Every city and town should have an Arthur. ;)
That is great!
I hope you paid him for his 'hat advice' Jack :)
With our General Election in full swing we could do with some honest answers over here. I fear it may cost us more than 5c to find out who's lying.
Very funny! Love his humour. :-)
Arthur has a very charming smile! I love his flag!
Lots of funny old guys in them thar parts. Re your comment on Ocala: The wall was not leaning. Did you have too much wine? Heh, heh!
Arthur looks like quite the character!
You do meet the most interesting people, Jack, and I'm so glad you share them with us! Arthur does indeed have a wonderful smile and I like his hat, too!! You definitely should get one like it! :) Hope your week is off to a great start! Enjoy -- and take us with you!!
Nobody pays me for all my good information and advice either!

I'm pretty sure I'd like Arthur!
*please share that hat seller. I need a NICE summer chapeau like yours.
He looks like he is enjoying life, Jack!
We could use a guy like him!
Maybe I'll ride up and down dispensing advice in Saltaire one day. Though I hope its a long time before I need a scooter.
He looks like quite a character!
i admire people who are able to rise above diversity. I often wonder if I could show the same kind of strength.
His pup looks comfy.
You can get false information almost anywhere on the Web for free. Maybe that competition has undercut his market.
He looks like a very friendly chap!
A friendly and clever man, I want a "Correct Information".
