Elizabethan Consort

The University of St. Joseph in West Hartford hosts an outdoor Shakespeare festival every summer.  Before one of last weekend's performances, the Elizabethan Consort performed.  They are an a cappella quartet.  This singer was particularly expressive.

This post provides an appropriate balance to yesterday's photo of athletes. If I tried to sing in public, the results would be worse than if I tried to play basketball, and my basketball skills at this point would be pathetic.

Hi Jack, dropping in from a visit to a fellow blog, From Lois' Hands and had an enjoyable visit to your blog looking at some recent posts. I have never had much luck with fireworks and enjoyed your recent post. My husband, Pat (Grenville on our blog) is a huge train fan so we are already planning a future visit to the Georgia Railroad Museum that Lois posted about. Please feel free to drop into our blogspot for a visit anytime.

Forgot to mention that we have been to the Essex train ride in CT and visited the Mt Washington cog RR but it was too overcast on the day we were there. Have you been to the Great Smokey RR in Bryson City, NC?

Expressive is right! Great shots! I really do enjoy a good Shakespeare festival. I used to try to go to the one in Cedar City Utah every year but I haven't been in a while. I should check that out again. They do fabulous productions.

What a wonderful treat, Shakespeare and a vocal performance!
Her expressions do leave one with the impression she really gets into her performance, it must have been fun.

Terrific portrait shots. You can almost hear her singing in just a few frames...

Looks like you captured one of those wonderful performers whose faces are as interesting as their singing. And doesn't that make for an even better performance? Nice portraits!

She looks like she really lives the part she portrays in song.
