He might be thinking either "I wonder what is taking them so long?" or "I wonder where I left my library card."

The library is spectacular at night! How nice of that silhouetted man to also be in the photo.

Excellent photo! - and it just begs the question of what your man is doing, standing there.

Great photograph! And, there is a bonus for me seeing a building that many of my family members visit regularly doing genealogy searches. Wonderful!

I LOVE your night shot of the Library! And, yes, I have the same question that Paul does!! What's he doing there??? Terrific capture for the day, Jack! Hope your week is off to a great start!

I needed a figure standing there, so I asked a homeless man to stand there and gave him a dollar to do it He was happy to oblige.

How creative of you Jack, always interesting to hear the story behind an image.

Nice night shot. I love all those windows. (Of course, that makes me wonder about keeping them clean...) Your silhouette subject seems a bit leary about going inside. I didn't realize theme day was still going on despite the demise of th CDP portal.

That's a nice picture. There could be a lot of stories in there.... :)

Dwarfed by a beautiful library. Looks spectacular. Bet I could spend hours in there...you wouldn't catch my silhouette outside!

You look to have an amazing library! Beautiful night shot and great capture of that very obliging gentleman! :)

Nice one Jack. He probably thought that you were quite odd!

The silhouette of that man makes the photo.

Nice one Jack. You are getting very bold in your photography, good for you. The figure certainly makes the shot.

This is a very striking image with the gentleman standing there.

What a fabulous night shot! He looks like he is contemplating whether to go in or not.

Bob Crowe said...

Nice. The figure outside is so ambiguous. Does he want to enjoy the riches inside or is he afraid?

Well, however you may have staged it, this is a crisp silhouette and a gorgeous building. Very nice, Jack!

Lovely choice for Theme Day. Good on you for having the person in the photo to show scale. This is a building that invites one in.

Good one Jack. I was rushed from being out of town and let the theme slip by me. I take my hat off to you on this one.

Wonderful contrast between the man whose details are not visible and the gigantic building, whose details are impossible to avoid. Wonderful realisation of the theme.
