Trenese wondered why I wanted to take her picture. I thought she was stylish . . . closely cropped hair, simple black sweater, high boots and big holes in her jeans. You would take her picture, too, wouldn't you? But, would you show her in color or black and white?

I kind of like the black and white.
I always wonder if you don't get cold in that kind of jeans though. :-)
Very nice portrait. I do like both.
You already know that I should have taken her portrait. And yours are both good.
I love the color image, so nice Autumn scenery and beautiful girl!

Nice shot.
I like the color shot best. She certainly is a stylish woman.
While I'm a fan of b&w photography, in this case I like the color portrait best. It brings out her natural warmth and is perhaps a bit less formal.
They're both great shots, but this time I think I like the color shot best! Depending on the season, the jeans could get a bit breezy, but I like them! Hope your week is off to a good start, Jack! Have fun!!
Colour definitely Jack, I'm surprised you were undecided! When jeans like that make me laugh I know I must be getting old haha!
I like the colour too!
Of these two I would have to go with the color shot. She's lovely.
I too like the colour best, you see the holes better - lol! Hope the coming storm stays away from you and your loved ones and your home, Jack. Thinking of you.
I do like the color image the best. Love those jeans!
Color, without question. Her tones and the autumn landscape have so much more impact that way.
With the b/w I would want to bring her face closer and perhaps crop a bit with more contrast.
I do love the color!

You bet I'd take the picture - and I'm in the colour camp, it works so much better.
Always color! I do not see the charm of B&W and jeans with holes, but she is really very cool!
Black and white certainly can be a dramatic choice, but often colour can do a better job of showing the image. In this case I would definitely choose color because of the contrasting hues of the foliage and the dramatic wardrobe on the woman.
I prefer the color here.
Funny jeans, very airy.
I prefer the color - her smile pops more. :)
Usually I like B&W better, but in this case I am more drawn to the color. :)
B & W makes for a more stark contrast with the rural background
color!!!
I would have asked too, even if I struggle with doing so.
She looks happy and trendy!
Color ? Yes.
I prefer the color.
