During the Festival of Trees, school and community singing groups performed throughout the day at the Atheneum's Aetna Theater. While I was there, the Hall High School Concert Choir sang the Hallelujah Chorus. It was an unusual choice to perform it with a small mixed choir, but it was beautiful.

i bet. and so good for the kids to have such magnificent music in their repertoire.
i love the entusiasm on their faces
Nice to stroll and come upon these wondrous moments.
A chorus of fresh young voices is a delight. What a joyful sound!!
I like the two shots juxtaposed...and the faces are so fun to look at. Some of them are really into it, and a few look like they're asleep!
Oh I bet is was. There is just something about a chorus singing that really calls out the holidays to me.
Very nice Jack!
Wish I had been there, Jack. The Hallelujah Chorus brings back happy memories of when I sang it in school.
You caught well their enthusiasm!
I'm sure it was Jack, choirs and Christmas go so very well together. Cute little faces, some more enthusiastic than others...what was that you said..amazing haha!!
I would have loved to have heard them! And what a great shot for the day! Wonderful variety of expressions on their faces! Hope you have a lovely weekend, Jack!

Nothing like Christmas music to put you in the season! Lovely.
They must have been thrilled - but nervous!
Methinks I would have enjoyed this very much!
And what a snappy looking group it is! Matching bow ties and cumberbunds all around! My husband performed the Messiah at that age and still remembers it with great fondness, a good reason for a group of any size to sing it. . .
This looks great! I love a Christmas concert. :)
Hallelujah. I love hearing that during the holidays.
I'll bet it was terrific.
Must have been lovely to listen to!
God bless you!

Love the faces and expressions while singing. My boys just played with their band at our Festival of Trees. So festive!
We sing this at church every Easter. It's wonderful.
