The Last Circus

Hartford's best alternative art presenter and facility is Real Art Ways.  RAW presents independent films -- art, foreign, experimental -- as well as art exhibitions.  (I have not seen this movie but I love the poster.)

Alex de la Iglesia is quite an amazing filmaker. I haven't seen this film though.

I have not seen this either but think that it is neither Barnum nor Cirque du Soleil. The poster is eyecatching and your angle/perspective adds to the interest.

Alex de la Iglesia is very good so the film should be good. I haven't seen it yet.

The expression on the woman's face takes one's attention away from the guy with the machine gun and gun belts, thank goodness.

Excellent name for the group.. RAW clever! They all look a little maniacal in this poster, love alternative films, wonder if anyone has seen this one?

Yes, I have seen this movie. I like Alex de la Iglesia´s films, although this isn´t his best, IMO. Try The Day of The Beast (one of his first works) or La Comunidad (really funny and interesting).

Greetings to all of the comenters from Valladolid Daily Photo.

BTW, the poster is really cool, very colourful.

And BTW, the american/english title is totally differen than the original spanish one: Balada triste de trompeta (Trumpet sad song, or something like that) and related with a Raphael (spanish singer) 70´s song.

That´s very funny the films titles´ translations in lots of cases. I think it´s better to keep the original for all the countries.

A couple of weeks ago I finished reading Water for Elephants and I'm not sure I'm quite ready to see what looks like might be a disturbing movie about circuses.

Great shot and great poster too!
I've never seen any film by Alex de la Iglesia but something in the poster lets me think I won't like it! I can't stand scary movies or violent films. Life is hard enough and I need to dream that the world is only beauty and kindness;o)
Thanks for sharing, Jack;o)

John? Oh gosh, I think I meant Jack. Well anyway, I do hope you will find a way to send this poster south.

I thought the circus was supposed to be fun...this one scares the bejeesus out of me!

Re your comment on Ocala: We drive a 2008 RL...love it. Bought a new TL in 2003. I'm spoiled now. Can't think of another car that appeals to me. Love the MDX, too. And while it's a long way up here to go for service, it might be worth it. :-)
