Let's Get Funky Today

They also sell flowers picked in their garden, using an unattended "honor box."  I bought a bunch.

HA! This is cute, I'd love to see it in the winter with a little snow on the ground. Great colors. I also like your shot, Friends, nice walk by.

What a difference! But I like it! Good for you getting some flowers!

(Blush: I drive to work. It's faster.)

What a novel way to advertise! Pretty funky, and I love the fact that you decided to branch out and give us a "slice of life" from your area.

Looks like a fun place and I adore those hearts on the shutters. Nice that they have an honor box.

The fence is wonderful but I love that house, too. The people who live here must have good hearts and a great sense of humor. I hope you were generous! As usual!

I loooove this fence and the color of the house. Are any of those pickets known Hartfordians.

So FUN! I can't imagine what my kids would say If I told them it was time to re-paint the fence on this one....
Love that you bought a bunch!

Ah, the honor box. Then there is still a chance to survive as a society. Good!

I built a white picket fence across the back of our lot in Arlington, VA 35 years ago. I painted it white. Today you made me realize how boring and unimaginative I am.

Wow, that is funky! But fun too. I like the idea of the honor box for some flowers.

Yes, I'm back to school (teacher), my husband also started a new business, hence my absence from blogging lately :{

That is cute! I bet most people are honorable. :)

Quite a contrast to yesterday's shot! It takes all sorts. And these people look like my sort of folks.

Love the fence and I love people who still have faith in others to leave a 'cash box,' for the flowers or eggs or whatever they sell alongside the road... Nicely captured and shared.

I think of it as kitschy; then again, what's the difference? Like the spirit of the place.

Love the honor system...especially with public parks. I've never heard of it for flowers in a private garden.
