Re your comment on the poster: At first I thought you said you were a fan of old pastors! Which wouldn't be a bad thing. They need all the fans they can get! Or so I've heard!
That lovely white building has some history and great architectural details! I'd love to dine inside.... wonder what it looks like inside.... (hint, hint) Nice to catch up on your blog today, Jack!
Hmmm! dinner at Gelston House after I've been to see Show Boat at the Goodspeed, sounds pretty good to me Jack, just need to book a table and tickets and I'm set!!!
Such a lovely old building and it looks like a great place to eat! Great to have it so close to the opera house! Terrific capture as always, Jack, and another lovely look at your world! Enjoy your day!

What a pleasure it must be to visit both places: a great meal and a good show in those surroundings would make for a very enjoyable evening!
Ah. Dinner and a show. Did you indulge?
Fantastic. Looks like something straight out of the roaring twenties!
Majestic!
For some reason this reminds me of Mark Twain. Perhaps it is the white river boat style. I would love to dine and see a musical at this local.
Everything looks perfect here. Beautiful house.
This looks like it might be a good place to dine. And, it has the added benefit of being close to the Opera House. Dinner and a show anyone?

Wow! Really gorgeous Jack.
Great building, the perfect venue for something to eat after a show!

Yesterday the Opera House, today this one! This district of Hartford seems very attractive! I like this victorian architecture, one of my favorites.
Very nice. I like the windows on the top floor.
What a lovely building and a lovely day to take a photo of it!
Magnificent is the only word I can think of for this place!
Lovely building and so well-maintained! Looks like it was a gorgeous day.
A beauty!
