Bow Ties

A display of shirts and bow ties at Stackpole Moore Tryon, a fine clothier on Trumbull Street in the center of downtown Hartford.

Did I mention that Hartford is a bit conservative?

Did someone say bowties? I wore my Christmas wreath bowtie last week and I think it was a hit!

Hi Jack! Love the photo blog! Glad to hear that retirement is suiting both you and Kitty well.

Lol, looks like it! Over here the craze is shocking pink. Yes, for men. No, not specifically for some men.

You rarely see bow ties worn here except for black tie dinners. They seem to suggest a certain sort of man - wealthy, intellectual, comfortable to be the centre of attention but a bit maverick.... or just old-fashioned!

The only bow tie I've seen in the last 50 years was worn by Larry King!

And it sounds as though you're my kind of golfer!

I'd like to wear one, but I'd be the only one in town!
