Elizabeth Park Dressed for Winter

I was in Hartford with free time, so what did I do?  Silly question.  I visited Elizabeth Park, of course.

The climbing and rambling roses covering the 75 arches in the rose garden are all wrapped in evergreen boughs for winter protection.  If you are a rose fanatic and interested in the winter protections, click here to read an article by the park's rosarian.
