This 1995 McLaren F1 is the newest vehicle in the Revs Institute collection. Revs calls it "the ultimate street car of the Twentieth Century."
I shouldn't leave Revs Institute without something about the man who assembled the collection. Miles Collier II is the grandson of Barron Gift Collier, a wealthy advertising man who assembled huge landholdings in Southwest Florida and built the Tamiami Trail across the peninsula from Naples to Miami.
Miles is an accomplished artist, investor and philanthropist, who inherited his love of sports cars from his father and uncle, Miles and Sam. Miles II raced Porsches for years. In 1986 he bought the Ferrari-based collection of Briggs Swift Cunningham and began assembling the collection that is now open to the public as the Revs Institute.

Excellent summary of the man who did so much in FL...Tamiami Trail no less! I enjoyed seeing his cars too.
This car is the very definition of power. It was out ragiously expensive when new and has only gone up in value, so it was a decent investment beside being the fastest car around.
I wouldn't want to drive one for fear that a truck would run over it.
