It is always scary to see them out on the road.

Hope the whole family made it across the road. Perhaps motorists would give them a free pass. Lovely photos of these mother ducks and ducklings.
I saw much the same scene here a while ago and was surprised to see all the traffic actually stop to let them pass and not an impatient horn honk to be heard. It was a magic moment.
