A snowbird shows photos from southwest Florida (Naples) and southwest Connecticut (Ridgefield) and New England and other places he goes.
They are not rare, but I haven't seen one in the neighborhood this year before yesterday.
And you got a great shot of him, Jack!
Interesting, I've not seen one before. It looks to have shorter legs than our grey heron.
A pretty bird.
I have only seen one of these Herons once, so they must be rare around here. BTW, Jack, thank you for all your recent comments. I am always glad to read your reactions.
