Naples Botanical Gardens

Yesterday's post was from a nighttime light show at Naples Botanical Gardens.  This is from a recent daytime visit.  Founded in 1993, the 170-acre world class gardens opened to the public
in 2009, just ten years ago.  They showcase plants from all over the world.

A new feature this season is a pair of trees at the entrance, planted with a colorful variety of orchids.

There is a big pond filled with water lilies.

A bee doing its thing.

A local photogher's images from the garden are on display through April.

Jack, you are so lucky to be able to walk and photograph in such a beautiful garden. You put your camera to great use.

I would love to visit it one day. I bet the plants are vastly different from the ones I see here.
