Brooklyn, Connecticut

Brooklyn is halfway between Hartford and Providence.  It is home to a prison and a big agricultural fair.  But there are also some fine, traditional small town buildings where
 Route 6 crosses Route 169.

An antiques store faces a green and the road.

The Unitarian Church is having its steeple painted.

Town Hall is at the intersection.

Lovely white buildings, Jack! Not a common sight here.

Fine Colonial style buildings. Wow, that painter is a long way up in that high lift. Makes me glad I learned to type so I never had to do something like this.

The church is a welcome sight.

It looks like a pretty community though I'm guessing the prison doesn't look quite as picturesque.
