My photographs from the weekend art show end today.
Glory Sheba Spinuzzi is from Sri Lanka. She is a self taught artist who focuses on seascapes and still lifes. Many artists' rendering of waves seem wooden to me, but Glory's paintings capture the light, movement and force beautifully. Glory has been on this blog before with a still life.
Linda Heath's father talked her out of an art career out of college, so she spent years in commercial real estate and diplomatic service. In Japan on business, she saw Gyotaku, the art of daubing fish and other marine life in paint and rolling them on rice paper. She was hooked. It is what she does now.
Lorri Honeycutt is a photographer with a sense of humor. She stages photographs with the miniature people used in model train sets to make her viewers look twice.
Dennis Goodman is a Naples fine arts photographer who specializes in wildlife and nature.
You see some alligators and the Naples Pier on the wall behind Dennis.
