One Classical, One Modern

Two night shots in downtown Hartford.

Marquis de Lafayette on horseback in front of Bushnell Hall.

Alexander Calder's Stegosaurus in Burr Mall, between Hartford's Municipal Building
(partially seen here on the right) and the Wadsworth Atheneum.

the "stegosaurus" looks odd against but interesting against the old buildings!

I can feel a bit of a chill in the air in both of these pictures. I do love the stegosaurus.

Lafayette really stands out well.

Lafayette is ready to defend your city. Both images really stand out well in the evening.

There is something magical about night photography. Your photos show such interesting light and shadows.

I got a feel of magic when I looked at these beautiful photographs.
They could have been part of a film too.

Steg unbridled! What a contrast it is to Lafayette.
