For the fourth straight year. West Hartford closed LaSalle Road for a couple of hours
early yesterday so more than 1,000 yoga enthusiasts could convene for morning exercises.
Yesterday I made a boo boo and posted these photos for several hours on the same day my post
about Eleanor was already running. If you saw this post yesterday,
please go back and visit Eleanor.

Great way to start a day! Your pics are terrific, Jack! So colorful and wonderful detail! An amazing number of people! I love it!! Hope you have a great weekend!!
They all certainly look enthusiastic and dedicated to their program of yoga. What a wonderful way for a city to promote good exercise and health!!
That is simply amazing. I might be able to handle the positions in the last few photos but, If I tried the positions in the first two photos, someone would have to help me up.
I love this kind of thing, Jack! I think you may have shown us this in a previous year's post.
Terrific pictures, Jack!
I did not imagine that Yoga is so popular.
Great photos. That is a huge number of people.
Yes, a zen moment gets my Sunday off fine... that and an expresso.
That sure is a huge crowd working in sync!
Yes I remember this from last year also Jack.. nice to think of all those many, many people going off to start their day in an 'om' state :) hopefully it will last all day :) super shots!
These are great. I've tried that first pose, always end up on my butt.
That's a whole lot of people!
What enthusiasm.
Wow! That's a dedicated group of yogis!
Holy moley! What a scene! Y'all need to get a life up in them thar parts! Play more golf.
Spectacular!
I find it strangely heartening that so many people are into yoga. I think its very healthy and they all look wonderfully fit. I'm not sure we'd be able to muster that many in a city in UK.
Just tried the first pose, out of interest - and I can do it! Yay! There's life in the old girl yet! (Can't do it with my feet flat on the ground like the lady in the front row though.)
I am so impressed!
Look at all those people. Fantastic view!
