That is beautiful. I would have been tempted by that too. But, then I'm sure there would have been quite a lot of things that would have tempted me on a trip to Russia.

This is, I presume, the artist and not someone from our Deep South. Papier mache - how much more transient and precious the object becomes.
For a moment, I thought you meant the beard. Pretty little box, I like the folk art style.
