Great weather now, but still, al fresco dining in greater Hartford is
nearing an end for this year. Fun while it lasted.
Johnny and I met in downtown New Britain.
I was hoping for a good story about the flaming skull on his baseball cap.
But, it is just a cap.
The guy who was feeding them stood up too fast, scaring the heck out of the ducks.

wow the duck's image is impressive! :) I would like to have a delicious coffee and chat with friend in this place. Looks cozy and charming there. I like a lot your first composition.
Happy weekend Jack!

Grants looks like a pleasant place for lunch and a chat, but I think I'd go into the shop next door, The Second Time Around, first. I'm a devoted thrift and consignment shop customer. Perhaps that's why I am now having a hard time down-sizing!
These are great Jack. We like the weather during this time of the year here.
I have heard those heaters for outdoor dining referred to as "Canadian palm trees."
Your portraits are always wonderful, Jack.
You sure were quick to capture those ducks.
Fun shots and great ones as always!! You were indeed quick to catch the ducks -- you're quick as a teenager!! Your portraits are indeed wonderful, Jack! Enjoy your weekend!
Lovely place Jack. And I love the burst of water in the last one!

Duck action!
Love the "Canadian Palm Tree" comment :)
I think those ducks are giving the people there a shower.
Nice shots. Like the hat.
Another casual day in your life Jack.
As long as I can sit outside at my favorite cafe and enjoy a mug of coffee it is still Summer to me!
Is still summer a few hours a day here...
Duck explosion! Great shot!
Fun to see the assorted things that have caught your eye.
