Everybody Runs

This runner is eighty one years old.  He finished first in his age category.

Of course, he was the only runner in his age category.

Today I should wake up in Venice,  I will be away for two weeks.  Internet might not be available and time will be tight, so I am not likely to be visiting any blogs for a while.  But, posts are scheduled for every day I am away.  I hope you enjoy them.

Congratulations to the 81-year old.

Enjoy your trip to Venice and whatever other destinations are on your itinerary. We love Venice. I have been there 6 or 7 times.

Jack, I hope that you take lots and lots of photos, which you share with us, and I hope that you meet blogger Pierre, a fine fellow indeed. Try to read some of Donna Leon's mysteries while you are there. One of my favorite writers. Have a GREAT time.

Love all the shots but that 81 year old is positively inspiring (and shaming...now what excuse do I have)!

Wonderful energy in his face. Someone like that will almost certainly live past a hundred. For eighty one, he looks a lot younger!

Haha! There are some 'strained' faces there Jack. Jeepers I hope I'm still running when I'm eighty, I wouldn't even mind coming last!
