Zelnick Pavilion

After I went to Wesleyan University in Middletown for a day in September, I got distracted by other things and neglected to post any photographs.  By now, they look very dated, with leafy trees and coeds in shorts and sunny blue skies.  But, this photo of the Zelnick Pavilion is more or less typical of how it would look today.  The Zelnick Pavilion is a 2003 glass atrium that connects Memorial Chapel to Patricelli Theater.

It would look right at home here Jack with blue skies and sunny days. It's a lovely pavilion.
I thought I was the only one who gets distracted!

Peek-a-boo...I almost see you! Great reflection, Jack. I know what you mean about getting distracted. That happens rather frequently at SDP Headquarters and the Editor in Chief gets rather irritated.

This glass atrium would be nice and warm on a sunny winter day.

You've captured some nice reflections at the same time.

Haha! nicely positioned reflection Jack, keeping the mystery oui!Love the vaulted ceiling in the pavilion, but I don't see a coed in shorts anywhere!
p.s. you are the inspiration for my post tomorrow!

This is so neat! I'm not even sure where to look, there's so much going on. :)

Interesting architecture here. Yes so easy to get caught up in the moment and forget. Requires left and right brain thinking simultaneously. Not my forte.

Beautiful composition and nice reflections, Jack.
Have you tried to hide you?

So you are leaning against the palm tree, right?

There are some amusing comments here that make me smile. I saw that PerthDP also credits your inspiration for her lovely photos today. Your photo has layers to it. Very nice!

You were hiding behind the post to catch some shots of coeds? ;-))

Good to bring outside in or inside out with these fine reflections. Photo is great. Don't worry about the season. Looks like spring here in San Antonio.

In the dead of winter, it's always comforting to gaze at leaves.
