I like to see such displays, as i'm fond of history; It's interesting, and also a good reminder of how easier life is today.
When they ran out of doors in America they came to Canada. I remember them from my childhood. I never realized the company was still around.

Death on Dirt. That sounds like a killer soap.
I wish that 'ditching the dirt" was as easy as reading the sign. Don't remember the door-to-door but certainly remember the products. I think that may be coming on hard times; a huge plant in St Paul closed several years ago. Have a good week-end, Jack!
Fuller Brush salesmen were very much a part of my childhood. Hadn't thought of them in years. I think some folks made pretty decent money going door to door. As I recall they had good products, reasonably priced.
Yes, I clicked on "Registered Users" only. I hope that doesn't deter some people who want to comment. Yesterday, I was hit with over 70 spam messages. Today, so far, none. Well, I shouldn't say that because the funniest thing happened: I had one message in the spam box. Guess who's it was - yup, your comment!

Not familiar with Fuller Brush, but I sure am familiar with Amway. Similar concept, I think.
I remember the Fuller Brush man coming to our house every now and then. I'm not sure what my mother bought from him but I know she bought something.
I remember the Fuller Brush Man pulling in to our driveway in his big station wagon full of products. Thanks for the memories!

I had forgotten all about the Fuller Brush man. They came to our place regularly too.

We had something like them: they were quite aggressive...
The Fuller Brush man always gave you a little something at the start of his pitch and wouldn't let you refuse to take it. It worked very well to create that obligation that one "should" buy something, since they were being so generous. But the products were good quality and generally worth the price.
That is some display. We never had them come to our door.

Can you believe they even had brush salesmen way back then in the middle of Africa.. Interesting bit of nostalgia Jack.
Don't think we had Fuller's but we did used to have door-to-door brush salesmen. It used to be quite an event in my young life when the man called with his big case full of stuff. He always had sweets for us kids too!
What a funny display! Glad we have modern conveniences. :)
I remember one with the company who would come around our house when I was growing up, usually every couple of months.
