The two men in front of me at Starbucks wore tee shots for the Laconia Motorcycle Rally.
Chris, on the left, works at Pratt & Whitney. John, on the right, owns a business shipping expensive cars and motorcycles around the country. The previous week they had attended the Laconia motorcycle rally, attended by thousands of bikers from around the Northeast. They told me about other bike rallies they attend, including Bike Week at Daytona Beach, and the upscale show of collector cars and motorcycles at Pebble Beach in August.

They look very proud of their bikes!

People who drive Harley's are a group set apart from other bikers. Your reserve regarding John's expenditures are wise; who'd want to cross him?
First heard stories of the Laconia bike rally back in the 1950s. Good to know it is still going on. Daytona Bike Week and the Sturgis Rally are the other two which draw national attention. Look like good guys.
They look like they would be right at home at the Barcelona Harley Rally that Rob and Mandy have been showing during this past week on Barcelona Daily Photo.
Do you know a french song by Brigitte Bardot? "I don't know anybody more when I'm on my Harley Davidson"..
Those guys , bikers ,are always impressive, but often much nicer than they seem to be!:o)
It's nice to have a hobby! These guys look like they really enjoy theirs.
There was a HOG (Harley Owners Group) meeting here about 3 weeks ago, they were 12.000 bikers (apart from all the parafrenalia you can imagine). Great noisy fun! :-)
Ah, happy boys with their favorite toys! I love it! What a great shot, Jack! I can just imagine the money invested in these! Enough for me to retire on again!!
How brave you were to take their photo (though - truth be told - they look like nice guys) and smart of you to not divulge how much they have invested in their toys.
Love it!
There is a rally near here at a small town, Port Dover, on Lake Erie which takes place every Friday 13 even in winter! This Friday is another 13 so thousands of bikers will descend on this wee little town along with a lot of police.
I would actually like to know... ;-)
One can never tell the secret lives of bikers... great portrait (again), Jack!

Awesome shot Jack.
