I've never really understood the theology of this kind of thing...people walk across the country hauling a cross. I can't see what that accomplishes, except for a very sore back and worn out shoes! :-)
The wheels made me smile - but sensible I guess. Our local churches had a march of witness on Good Friday but what with decorating and a heavy cold I gave it all a miss this year.

Don't think the original had wheels or a shoulder pad. That misses the spirit somehow. Great picture, however.
