Miscellany II

More pictures I couldn't fit earlier.

Here is a photographer being photographed.

The plaza at Blue Back Square, with Barnes & Noble on the left and the library on the right.

People dance with their dogs.  Really.  They're dogs, people!

I am back in Hartford today, the suitcase is empty and the clothes are washed.  The foliage on Sunday was not as brilliant as usual, but I hope the weather is good on Monday so I can search out some fall color.  See you soon, with fresh material.  Thanks for visiting while I was away.

I love the cute dogs in the last photo, and the concept of photographer being photographed. The plaza is also very nice:)
Have a great new week, Jack!

Dance with their dogs. Too much. Love the tattoo on the photographer

Top photo: Cannot decide if I'm more fascinated by the camera lens or the tattoo!

It's come to this, heh? Hartford has officially gone to the dogs! But like my dog said, "I don't care about the poodle, dance with me!"

I like the photographer shot, but do not understand why attractive young females apply ink blots to their skin...

A great collection of shots. Love the casual way the photographer holds her camera.

Welcome back. I also do not understand the excessive tatoo trend.

Welcome home, Jack! Great captures as always! I, too, continue to be bewildered by the passion for tattoos! Guess it's not just age -- my kids never liked them either! I don't think Sam Schnauzer would be interested in dancing with me -- or anyone for that matter! Love the colorful Plaza. Look forward to seeing your new pics! Have a great day!

Welcome back!

Interesting variety here. The first is a great candid shot.

I had to google Blue Back Square, but I'm glad I did. I've heard a lot about West Hartford, but had no idea anything like that was out there. I'm sure it's a newer construction than it appears to be, but it's a lovely space regardless of the age. Similar to some of the stuff they've done in Freeport, ME.

Welcome home Jack! I had a cat that loved to dance but never had a dog small enough to pick up!

The camera and tattoo shot is brilliant. As for dancing with dogs, I've seen stranger things! Welcome back!

Welcome back! This is a nice collection of miscellaneous shots. I must confess...I like the people dancing with the hounds. I'm impressed your suicase is unpacked...and clothes washed (two of the more unsavory aspects of travelling, as far as I'm concerned.)

There is nothing like photographing a photographer.
Its got a charm of its own.
