Yikes! That top Halloween photo is scary, Jack!

Connecticut was clobbered by a snow storm while the leaves were still on the trees. Trees and limbs down everywhere. 800,000 without power, heat or Internet. It is a mess. I have posts lined up from before the storm but I won't be visiting you for a while.

I've heard good things about the Napa Valley Jack - it's on my bucket list.

Napa Valley...jealous, jealous!

After a restless night, I feel very much like the "individual" in your top photo!

The top photo has what Johnny Carson said he wanted on his epitaph, his cutaway remark to many commercial breaks: "I'll be right back."

We saw on TV that east USA was under snow..Bad year for your country!
I like Halloween decorations, here people don't celebrate it, so it's hard to find or even to see something like your first pic!

Marvelous, fun post for Halloween, but you are going through a weather nightmare in Connecticut!! I do hope all is well with you and your family! I was thinking about you when watching the news last night. The pictures from Hartford were frightening! Holding good thoughts for all of you!

So sorry to hear about your shocking weather Jack, I keep thinking you're still in Autumn, how can it be so bad already.. I like the happy Casper the ghost picture best, hope you stay 'connected' and have a happy Halloween!

I saw on our news that hartford was the hardest hit by the storm - hope you have a source of heat! It will be a very spooky Halloween there.

Hope you're warm and dry despite the unseasonal weather - a bit spooky in itself!

The guy coming from the ground is amazing! Brilliant! :-)

I like the 2nd shot best!

Hope you didn't get too much snow up there!

Okay, I just read your comment about the snow. That's what I was afraid of after reading the stories in the paper. Hope you're OK and that things get back to normal soon!

Like the others are saying, that first one is very scary. Very "Thirller-esque."

I love decorations, even if they're cheesy. It's nice to see people are getting into the "spirit". ;)

Mother Nature definitely dealt you a trick this Halloween with that storm. Ugh! Love that top pic -- great stuff! Hope you're back amongst the living soon --- that is, with power and internet. : )
