Change of Pace: Pigeon

Let's leave Hartford for a day and peek into my trip to Italy in September.

This photo was taken near the Ponte Vecchio in Florence.

Very nice shot. I'm glad you told us it was in Italy. When I opened up your site I thought what is this little ancient corner of Hartford.

I imagine Hartford also has statues of old dudes. And pigeons too probably!

I really like this shot. It gave me a smile this morning. And that's a good thing. :D

I bet a EURO that the man statue ended the day with bird poop in his hair...

Oh, I love it! Definitely worth the trip to Italy... although I imagine you experienced more than pigeons and statues while there!

Poor, poor man. If you change the last letter of 'poor' to another consonant, you'll know what I mean. Other than that, it's a lovely photo.

Splendid. Thanks for the photo. Hope to see many, many more of them.

Ok thanks for the mini vacation. The bird on the otherwise austere looking gentleman is a nice whimsical touch

I think Benvenuto Cellini (the guy of the bust) wouldn't be amused by those pigeons...
