Patio Dining

Yesterday -- in the last week of October! -- it was 75 degrees in Hartford.

So, we wanted to have lunch at a restaurant with an outdoor patio.  We chose Max's Oyster Bar in West Hartford Center.  It was a good meal and it was delightful to bask in the last temperate day this year in greater Hartford.

The Max Restaurant Group operates about a dozen restaurants in central Connecticut and western Massachusetts.  They are uniformly excellent.

75 would be the normal fall temperature around here, but we've been in the high 80s! We finally got some much-needed rain though and they say it's going to cool off for the weekend. Let's hope "they" are right! Until then, we can both enjoy some al-fresco dining!

Looks like great fun! It's a little warmer than that here, though. 90 today, I think. But cooling down over the weekend to the low 80s.

I wish Max Restaurant Group would open a place in Ocala...we could use a really excellent restaurant!

Good for you! There is just something about eating outdoors that puts a new perspective on the day.

Nice scene, looks fun. We'll be lucky if we hit 55 today. I'm adjusting to the cold, but the rain needs to skidaddle.

Food always tastes good outdoors and this looks yummy. It's warm here too (though not 75) but very damp with it.

Looks so tasty! Lucky you to enjoy outdoors lunch. It's impossible here at the time of year:)

Okay, looking at this with envy. Can you get lobster rolls there? I've been thinking of starting a new religion based on the worship of northeastern lobster.
