Trinity College Chapel

The College Chapel building is one of the most prominent on the campus of Trinity College.  The carillon (bell tower) can be seen above the skyline for miles around.

Freshmen and transfer students are scheduled to arrive on the Trinity campus today.  The serene atmosphere shown here in photographs from last week will not last long . . .

What a fantastic "cathedral!" If it weren't for the American flag flying in the background, I'd almost think you were on vacation in jolly ol' England!

It's back to school here today but not yet to university. I wish we had real campuses in France, I would have loved to study at a place like that.

What a lovely cathedral. I especially like the way it seems to rise out of nowhere. It doesn't appear that there are any other buildings around.

Oh, I can imagine just how thrilled you were to get that second photo. Wow! It's pristine in its magnificence!

About Duncan, our darlin' dachshund--yes, for 16 and a half years he was well-loved and borderline spoiled. OK, spoiled. He died on June 9 this summer--Mama and I miss him very much, but we're dealing with it the best that we can. Having photos to look at certainly helps.
