The sidewalks lining West Hartford Center have been loaded with planters. Is it like that where you are?
Fall is here -- and it is finally raining after a severe drought in August and September -- so I guess I needed to post a final reminder of summer.

Sounds familiar! Yes, our downtown sidewalks have flowers in planters, and yes we had rain yesterday after a long drought. But, we still have flowers blooming. Nice contrast.
We have planters and such in the fancier shopping areas, but not really in downtown. People don't hang out much downtown anyway... so I guess it's all good.
