Siracusa in the Daytime

This is the lovely Duomo in Siracusa.  It was built over a 5th century B.C. doric temple.

And the Teatro Greco (Greek theater).

Some good friends of ours returned from a vacation in Sicily and said that they would be happy to go right back and visit again. Your photos show why.

Another incredible trip, Jack, and terrific captures - as always!! I do love the Greek theater!! They are so classic for that time period and I loved the ones we saw in Greece and even attended a concert in one "saved" one! Awesome!!

That Greek theatre could seat a lot of people.

Such fun following your journey. Did you have to wait long for the Greek play to begin? Looks like the audience wasn't there yet! ;-)

I think my interest in all things Greek would draw me to that old theatrical space.
