Collier County Public Library

The headquarters of the Collier Public Library system in on Orange Blossom Drive.  There are nine other branch libraries.  Collier County is a new enough region that the library system dates back only to 1957.

Fine Spanish style architecture for this library. I've always thought libraries are important additions to communities. They encourage the free access to information, and the pleasure of reading.

1957! That was the time period that my grandma took me to the library for my first time. Handsome architecture.

Such a beautiful library!
Amazing how the system has grown since 1957--it really shows how important libraries are to the community.
