The 17th annual Pets on Parade took place last Sunday. The theme was America's 250th birthday.
Most participants really got into the theme.
A dog calmly held the steering wheel while the owner controlled it remotely five or six steps behind.
There were many small dogs. It would have been easy to miss them.
This is a funny outfit. It looked like the dog was walking upright.
A family brought the mom and dad dogs and their three offspring.
The announcer said these are two great danes. I wasn't looking at them.
And this might have been the crowd's favorite, less for the dog, more for the serious young man on his scooter who didn't crack a smile the whole length of Third Street South.
