For the past several years Naples Art Institute has been doing a great job of mounting exhibitions.
The current exhibition shows works by the Spanish-born artist Joan Miro.
I was familiar with some of Miro's works, but I knew very little about him.
The bold ones I am showing here, with heavy black lines and bright prime colors, were the few that I really liked. Miro wasn't on my best-liked list. I am glad I went to the exhibition, but it didn't elevate his ranking with me.
I created this post a couple of weeks ago, before I encountered problems posting photographs with my blogger software.
A fellow blogger, Ed, advised me to clear my browser's cache and history in order to post photographs. I did that and was able to add a photo to yesterday's post. Ed has said that he has the same software problem I have, and he is able to continue posting only by clearing his history and cache each time. That is what I now encountered when I tried to create a post for tomorrow. Clearing cache and history every day affects many more programs than just this one. So, I am going to "go dark" again while I think about how to proceed.

Joyful art, it is
Thank you for showing the Joan Miro art work. We spent a few months in Barcelona, Spain one winter where there is a whole museum devoted to his art. We went several times to see it all. The city is proud of its artists.
