The Northeast has been suffering in a drought. When I saw the low water levels in the Titicus Reservoir in North Salem, New York, I was concerned.
Not to worry. Titicus and other reservoirs in Westchester County serve New York City. There is a linked reservoir up in New Hampshire that needs work. So, in preparation for emptying that upstream reservoir into Titicus so the work can be done, Titicus is now being drained so it can eventually hold that water.
