The annual New Year Art Show was held on Fifth Avenue South last weekend. I went on Saturday.
"Social distance" and "wear your mask" signs were everywhere. All artists and most attendees complied.
I mainly walked around the edge and looked into the display tents.
People in blue seem to like blue ceramics.
A big painting is sold!

I am reminded of such events here.
I've always loved art shows, and am glad to see this one was well attended. Maybe by next fall our area will again be able to do maskless shows...or at least hope to have them.
All shows have been cancelled here. It is a hard time to be an artist especially a young one just starting out.
The art show looks like great fun, and good for the artists, but I would still be nervous to attend. A vaccine is to far off, and it would be tragic to catch Covid now.
