A snowbird shows photos from southwest Florida (Naples) and southwest Connecticut (Ridgefield) and New England and other places he goes.
Wow, I don't think I've ever heard a heron (the grey that we have here) make a sound.

I am aware that another blogger has great blue herons nesting in pine trees near her home. That's a wonderful picture of this heron.
We have many Great Blue Heron, but I have never seen a Tricolored Heron. Thanks for expanding my horizons.
Seems to me you are taking the best bird photos ever. Seriously. And I've looked at a lot of bird photos in my time.
