Greek Festival

A three-day Greek festival ended on Sunday on the grounds of St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church.
I always like the children doing folk dances.

The folk dancing began with four-, five- and six-year old dancers.
People in the crowd ran up and showered the little dancers with dollar bills.

The next dancers were the teen-agers, mostly girls.
It is a very popular and well-attended event.

The dancing is fun to see, and I will bet there was Greek food available also.

That looks like good fun. I learned to do a Greek dance once, but I think I'd fall on my face if I attempted it today!

Nice to see the kids learning about their culture. Hope they had good food available too.

Colourful attire. There's a festival here in the summer, but I always miss it.
