Fort Myers Beach

Fort Myers Beach is honky tonk and horribly crowded in season, which ends just after Easter.
And the only road through it has been under construction since the Middle Ages.
But, with season over, I took a drive through it.

The beach itself, which is hard to see behind rows of tiki bars and cheap motels in season,
is kind of pretty when no one is there.

Very different from any beach in my area, although we do have a few bad roads.

I like that mural.

That is a pretty beach. I'm sure it's not all that pleasant when it's busy.
