Three Recent Birds

A male red-bellied woodpecker that flew down to the grass to give me an easier shot than when it was banging his head against the trunk of a nearby palm tree.

A tricolored heron wearing its "breeding" coloration, with a bright blue beak,
white plume and maroon legs.

An immature white ibis with a splotchy coat.  When mature, it will be pure white like its elders,
but with a bright red face, bill and legs.
