13th Annual Great Tomato Celebration
Susie called. "There is a break in the weather, I have bundled the girls into the car and we are going to White Flower Farm for their annual sale of tomato plants. Want to meet us there?"
How lovely it is to be able to meet up with family easily and on the spur of the moment. Did you buy any plants? I've sometimes wondered about growing some tomatoes but I'm sure I'd kill them!
Cute little Hazel! Need a recommendation? Brandywine heirloom. Great tomato! Our growing season is too short for many of the really good ones, including brandywine.

Oh how I would love a tomato that actually tastes like a tomato.
This looks wonderful to me. I am going to guess there are quite a few heirloom varieties for sale.
