Bill Hosley is a Hartford historian who gave an impassioned talk about Elizabeth Colt, wife of Hartford gunmaker Samuel Colt,. Mrs. Colt left a big imprint on Hartford.
The talk was in the afternoon after the wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
I thought it was unnecessary for Hosley to wear a fascinator, but he did.
And an experienced speaker should really know better than to mug at a camera held by a guy
with a finger on the shutter button and good reflexes.

You need to check the names of the newlyweds!
He looks a character.
I gather you're not a Royalist then, Jack... ;)
(Oops . . . post is corrected after a wee issue with the groom's name.)
That fascinator would have fit right in with the royal wedding crowd.
All you've got to correct now is the spelling of Meghan's name. At least you didn't get her mixed up with Angela Merkel!
Fun shots, Jack!
Ha! Love the fascinator crack :)
I went to some lectures on Saturday, too. I suspect yours was more interesting. And there was no millinery at my event.
