You can't stay away from Elizabeth Garden and, why not, when one is welcomed by the "sign" and lovely flowers during so many growing seasons. The colours of the dahlias make the visit worthwhile.
i wish we had something like this nearby!
You are right about your having Elizabeth Park and I have Coombe Country Park. Keep going there during the winter, Jack.

Fabulous colours. I'd never plant dahlias but I like their showiness.
Love the dahlias. There are still a few blooming along my morning walk to the subway. I'm enjoying the color while I can!
The peak of summer is such a spoiler it makes it doubly hard to see it begin to fade.
