Through February 2016, there will be fifty decorated loggerhead sea turtles all over Naples.
This turtle was called "Under the Sea." It was painted by local artist Nancy Job. It is located outside the offices of a financial advisory firm that sponsored the installation.
The turtles will be auctioned next March. Proceeds will benefit Community Foundation of Collier County, United Arts Council of Collier County and Conservancy of Southwest Florida.

Very eye catching and a great project.
What a super way to raise money and awareness for a good cause Jack.. Hope we will see more turtles around town..
So beautiful!
Will you be on a scavenger hunt looking for all 50 turtles?
Love it! Reminds me of Ocala's horses, which are also auctioned off for charity.
Oh, how colorful and fun!!! I was thinking the same as EG, will you be on a scavenger hunt for those 50 turtles??? I hope your weekend is off to a great start!! Enjoy!
When I was working in Chicago it was painted cows on the streets. It was fun trying to locate them all. I love the pastel colors on this one.
These kind of art installations are fun. I hope to see more turtles.
It's either about to fly or practicing some martial art.
Welcome home. I enjoyed your photos tremendously. It's a part of the world I'm not likely to see in person.
In Santa Rosa, CA, hometown of the late Charles Schultz, there were painted Peanuts characters. I think I prefer this loggerhead. It's quite lovely.
This is beautiful and a great idea! I hope you will be able to show us some more of these turtles Jack. Oh and yes I have seen the video of Michelle Roque, the FSU flag football player. She is amazing!
This one's very colourful!
We have our bears, you have your turtles!
I think it is wonderfully interesting when communities sponsor these themed art projects that are later sold for the benefit of artists and art groups.
What fun!
