Broad Street Cottage

This 1935 "cottage" is at the end of Broad Street, overlooking Naples Beach.
The original part of the house is marked by the front porch and the white chimney.
The turret at the left side and the building to the rear are additions designed to blend in.

This is the view from the dune edge of the beach.

Cottage - a small, simple house with a small plot of land for the cottager to grow food to supplement his/her diet. Originally derived from "cot" a shelter for livestock.
How words change their meaning. I wonder how this cottager scrapes a living (?)

Very nice cottage! I love the look of that closed-in porch.
