It just appealed to me.
Linda's quirky friendliness also appealed to me.
Pink umbrellas to borrow if it rains. Only in Florida.
If you paint your VW bug, don't forget to paint a flower inside the gas cap cover.
"I had a small red rose tattooed on my breast when I was young. Now it is a poinsettia."
So 1950s.

Excellent variety today. Some with humour and some with nostalgia.
Lovely pictures, funny captions!
this was a fun set of photos!
Haha! Like the way you threw in the red rose reference Jack :) I enjoyed your selection so much..
Ha. Back about 50 years I worked with an 'oldtimer'. He had tats. I told him I like Moby Dick on his forearm. He chuckled, "The in the Navy, the night it was done it was a topless mermaid." GRIN.
Nice posting.
Image number 1 and 3 are my favourites.
I do love all these odds and ends. All of them are very appealing. The tattoo story made me laugh out loud.
Yep, I love your odds and ends, too, and I'm still chuckling over the tattoo story!! You do have fun, Jack, and I'm so glad you share it with us!! Hope you have fun, great day!!
Re the tattoo: I think it's amazing what some women tell you! :)
Love the tattoo story and I really like the ice cream place, Jack!
Jack, you wear pink in Hartford. So why wouldn't you have a pink brollie in Hartford?
No shortage of umbrellas, I see!
A good random selection. I like the pattern ones - brollies and shadows.
It's raining here Jack & I'd really love one of those pretty pink umbrellas .... lovely eclectic mix of pics.
The poinsettia quote made me laugh out loud! Great shots Jack.
Nice shots. I love the ice cream stand.
There is no shortage of color in Florida...or of colorful characters, either. The poinsettia lady is a total hoot.
They are all great and I feel a little inspired by the first one. Shadows can be the source of a very interesting image, I see.
And all of them reflect your very good eye.
I love a woman with a sense of humour
