Hough Street, Fort Myers
Hough Street is off the main street of Fort Myers' downtown. It looks like a haven for people who like living in colorful, funky homes that are within walking distance of all the action.
I'll take a small funky house before a large mansion. . .easier to manage. Hard to chose one, though. I love the pink door, but I think I'm sold on porches, esp if screened in.

Great with all the different designs. Over here people can be ordered to repaint their houses if they have the wrong color!
The variety of housing makes it much more interesting than the cookie cutter subdivision.
Each of the houses have people who LOVE their place on the planet:)
A very nice posting!
Nice group of houses Jack.
This looks like a great area! My kind of place, Jack!

Fine photos, fine words: within walking distance of all the action.
These are great looking little cottages.
Those would be like living in Toy World!! And on short term would be great!! Fun shots for the day, Jack! Hope you've had a great weekend!!
I like these places, Jack. They've got a lot of character.
I love the fact that they are a manageable size rather than mcmansions. Very colorful!
They are all adorable Jack! The first is my favorite, probably because of the columns.
I like these funky houses. I'll take the one with the pink door.
Cute! I suspect they're from an era where having a modest home was wealth enough.
I like the colors.
Cute homes, adorable !
I wonder if the residents are equally individualistic and trendy? You couldn't be just ordinary and live in a house like those...
