56 Arbor Street: Hartford Prints

Hartford Prints is a small letterpress studio and stationery store with its production activities at
56 Arbor Street and a retail shop on Pratt Street.  It is owned by three sisters,
none of whom were there when I visited.  I will have to go back.

But, three of the employees were there.  Kait operates the press.

Christa is a designer.

Lauren, too.

Looks like a place where the ladies are in complete control.

A letterpress studio would be so interesting to know more about. It speaks to my creative side.

T'would be fun to work there, but must you be both young and beautiful to be an employee?

I like the portraits, Jack. That establishment might be a niche, but if they're hiring on people, that means there's a market for it.

Looks like the place has a lot of fresh energy...and certainly it's share of "pretty," too! Nice portraits, as usual.

It must be a pretty successful business if they have so many employees. Glad to hear places like this are flourishing!

I love the idea of a local and family-owned factory and shop. The three sisters in their homepage look gorgeous, and so happy ! Your photos of the staff are as delightful as ever and I'm sure you'll do a great job of photographing the owners next time ! I look forward to that.

I love to see and support small businesses like these. If we could all support such enterprises the corporations would have less control over us. I hope you get your stationery from here Jack.
